MonkeyBrain Privacy Policy

Effective date: 1 October 2026 · App: MonkeyBrain (sk.rr.monkeybrain) · Developer: RR Team

This policy explains what information the MonkeyBrain mobile game ("the app") handles, and how. The short version: the app has no accounts, asks for nothing personal, and keeps your game progress only on your own device. Data is collected only by Google services: AdMob (ads that keep the game free) and Firebase (anonymous usage statistics and crash reports that help us fix bugs).

1. Data the app itself stores

Your game progress — levels, best scores, bananas, unlocked themes and cosmetics, achievements, daily quests, your memory score and its history, settings — is stored locally on your device only. It is never uploaded, and we cannot see it. Uninstalling the app deletes it.

The app has no user accounts and never asks for your name, e-mail address, contacts, location, photos, microphone, or any other personal information.

1a. Reminders (notifications)

If you allow notifications, the app schedules an evening reminder for the daily challenge directly on your device. Reminders are created locally; no data is sent anywhere to deliver them. You can turn them off at any time in the app (Settings → Reminders) or in your phone's settings.

1b. Usage statistics and crash reports (Google Firebase)

The app uses Google Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics. Analytics records anonymous events such as which game modes are played, levels completed and purchases made, together with a random app-instance identifier, device model, OS version and coarse country. Crashlytics sends a technical report (device model, OS version, stack trace) when the app crashes. This data is not linked to your identity and is used only to improve the game. See Firebase privacy information.

2. Advertising (Google AdMob)

The app shows advertisements served by Google AdMob, a third-party service operated by Google. To serve and measure ads, Google may collect:

How Google uses this data is described in Google's Privacy Policy and in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.

3. Your consent choices (GDPR / EEA and UK)

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, the app shows a consent form (Google User Messaging Platform) on first launch. You can choose whether ads may be personalised. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time by reinstalling the app or via your device's ad settings (Settings → Google → Ads), including resetting or deleting your advertising ID.

If you do not consent to personalised ads, the app may still show non-personalised ads. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time in the app via Settings → Privacy & ad consent.

4. In-app purchases

The app offers optional in-app purchases (banana packs, an ad-removal upgrade and the Peek Pro upgrade). You can also choose to watch a rewarded ad for bananas; this is always optional. All payments are processed entirely by Google Play; we never receive your payment details, billing address, or identity. Your purchase entitlements are managed by your Google account and stored locally in the app. Refunds follow Google Play's refund policy.

5. Children

The app is a general-audience memory game and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Ad serving follows Google's policies for family-safe advertising where applicable.

6. Data sharing and selling

We do not sell any data and do not collect personal data ourselves. The only third parties involved are Google AdMob (advertising), Google Firebase (usage statistics and crash reports) and Google Play (payments), as described above.

7. Security

All communication between the app and Google's advertising and Firebase services uses encrypted connections (HTTPS). Since game progress never leaves your device, there is nothing else to secure on our side.

8. Changes to this policy

If the app's data practices change (for example, if we add online leaderboards), this policy will be updated and the effective date above will change.
